Safe Rooms

It does not matter what kind of home you own, a safe room is the safest place for your family to weather the storm.  We pride ourselves on being one of the few companies in the north Georgia area that offers safe room additions to your home.  We have over 15 years experience in building homes designed to out-perform any other type of structure being built today in the event of a major storm.  Using this experience we have added stand alone or built in an existing basement safe rooms to the list of services we offer.  The first question I am always asked is how much does it cost.  Well, I wish i had a definative answer to that question, but there are too many variable to consider. (site, location, existing conditions)  In most cases a budget of 10,000 should cover installation in an existing home.  Obviously this can go up just depending on what kind of use and finishes your safe room will have.  My typical reccomendation is to add a bathroom in the safe room.  You do not want to be locked down for the storm and have no where to "go".  This usually adds about 5,000 to the cost but is well worth the investment.  Every situation is different so the numbers I have mentioned may or may not apply to your situation.  We will be happy to meet with you and discuss your vision and come up with the most practical application and effective budget to meet the needs of your family.
